What are Canvas Guides?

There are several ways to get help in Canvas. The Canvas Student Guide is a great resource and place to start looking for answers to any questions you may have about Canvas.

What information is needed to Report a Problem?

It is important that you include the following information in your message when requesting help:

your first and last name
your course name
your Instructor's name
specify usage of a PC or Mac
the type of browser you are using
specific details describing the problem you are having

Below is an example of a good help request.

My name is Jane Doe, and I am taking Professor Ayurveda for ISci632b Foundations of Health and Wellness class. I am using a Windows PC and Internet Explorer 10. Every time I log into Canvas a message pops up that says, "Internet Explorer needs to shut down." Everything then closes. What can I do?
